Amy is Director of Client Strategy at ADsmith Marketing and Advertising. She has 16 years of marketing experience working with a wide range of clientele from local and regional businesses to national brands. Amy has a strong foundation in marketing strategy and client service with 8 years of agency experience. She spent the early part of her career working in-house as a marketing director, graphic designer, and copywriter. Amy is a huge fan of brainstorming, her infectious energy inspires open communication, creative thinking, and innovation. Amy earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication from Missouri State University with a minor in Psychology. She was born and raised in Springfield and is committed to giving back to our local community, serving multiple local nonprofits.
Bethany is the VP of Marketing and Communications at Hiveminded. Her passion is in leading her team and helping small businesses grow. Bethany earned her BS in Public Relations at MSU. Originally taking a position as an unpaid intern to get marketing experience, her boss quickly pointed out that she was the hardest worker in the room. That focus fueled her climb to the top of the marketing department, specializing in public relations, social media, and email marketing.
When she isn’t busy helping our clients envision long-term marketing strategies, she enjoys reading, spending time with her pets, visiting local breweries, and shopping. Her friends know her best for her sweet smile, iced coffee addiction, and always knowing the best places to eat.

Christel is an experienced Professor with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Also skilled in graphic design, educational technology, instructional design, web design, and Adobe Photoshop. Our program offers six emphasis areas in Graphic Design, Management, Print Media, Package Design, Web/Interactive and Digital Media. I teach software classes from the Adobe Creative Suite, our capstone Senior Project and Portfolio Management.

TLC Properties was founded in May of 1988 by Sam and Carol Coryell. The Coryells, who taught music at a local university, had a desire to establish a real estate business as a way to supplement their income and to fulfill a dream of owning their own business. Purchasing three single-family homes and a small ten-unit apartment community, they soon recognized the opportunities in multifamily rentals, decided that this was their niche in the rental market, and began to aggressively pursue multifamily development.
By 1993, Sam and Carol had acquired about 40 units and decided to expand by building a four-plex at an existing community. With the initial success and a goal of owning 100 units, they started a second development, which when completed in 1996, gave them a total of 150 units. In 2012, TLC Properties began managing for property owners outside of the family. TLC currently manages 28 multifamily apartment communities, consisting of 3,963 units with an additional 960 units scheduled for completion by 2022.
Sam and Carol, both of whom have doctoral degrees, believe that the discipline, organizational skills, perseverance, and aesthetic sensitivity gained in their educational pursuits and career have contributed greatly to their success in
multifamily development. Sons Sam M., Daniel and David have played vital roles in the continuing development of the company. TLC Properties aims, as the centerpiece of its operational mission, to protect the value of the assets entrusted
to their care and to protect the reputation of the asset owner through superior customer service to residents. TLC Properties is known for its well-maintained apartment communities, featuring amenities such as luxury pools, dog

Ken is a marketing industry veteran who came to ADsmith with more than twenty years of experience already under his belt. As President, Ken manages the ADsmith team and the company’s ongoing mission to offer the same level of strategic marketing leadership to both locally-based, regional, and national businesses. Ken cut his teeth in marketing at four advertising agencies before ADsmith. Much of his career was with Noble & Associates, a national agency catering to the food and home & building industries. When not thinking about marketing strategies, Ken enjoys life with his family. Ken is married to Kim Taylor; they have a family of 4 kids in middle school, high school, and college. Their home is very active, with two cats, chickens, and never-ending home remodeling projects. Outside of work and home, Ken is an active member of the Rotary Club of Springfield Southeast. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Down Syndrome Group of the Ozarks (DSGO) for many years and continues to support DSGO to help raise awareness and resources for families with members that have Down Syndrome. Kesha spent 16 years in marketing and advertising working on national brands like Unilever Food Solutions, McCain Foods, International Delight, and Procter & Gamble Professional as well as boutique brands like Askinosie Chocolate. Her career has been focused on account service and strategic planning. She was fortunate to build and lead the strategic planning practice at the Marlin Network, introducing a new discipline to the agency.
